DEB: I was educated in Hampshire before starting my career as a PA, quickly proving myself and progressing into management roles before turning to banking and human resources. Moving to London I transferred my skills into recruitment, building many successful accounts and teams before rising to director level. I love meeting new people and developing roles within business. I love nature and architecture, food and entertaining. In my spare time I trained and qualified as a fitness instructor, running evening and weekend classes.

AL: Following a Hampshire education and an initial career in mechanical engineering, I soon followed my heart and entered an exciting 15 years in London, immersing myself in creative roles within the fast moving magazine and advertising industry. Then moving on to my passion of interior design, property renovation and improvements. I'm always looking positively forward. I enjoying active involvement in sport, fitness and social groups with a passion for food, cooking and entertaining.

During our careers we were also actively developing our London properties, taking overall responsibility for the interior design, project management, tradesmen selection and co-ordination during the refurbishments before selling and moving on to the next project.

In our search for adventure and new challenges we travelled extensively, learning about economy, politics, history, geography, and sociology in an intense, hands-on way, opening our eyes and giving us a well-rounded perspective on life, plus developing many skills we didn’t know we had.

Our love of nature and adventure took us to the French Alps where we initially returned to our renovating past, this time sympathetically rebuilding our ancient chalet and building an interior styling business with the added challenges that come with language and cultural differences, We then progressed to managing our unique and exclusive ski holiday business and spending many successful years building a varied hospitality business which included major product launches and weddings in the French alps, developing extensive hands-on flexible working practices including administrative, organisational and logistical roles.

Our deep rooted love for England and its people has now brought us back to beautiful Winchester in Hampshire, close to where our lives began and we now enthusiastically offer our varied and extensive skills to help others get more from their lives.
